The BVI has many land based activities to take part in

Spending a few days on land? Whether you plan on taking easy, shopping for souvenirs, taking in some historic sites or seeking adventures there should be something to tempt you!

J.R O’Neal Botanic Gardens located in the heart of Road Town, the gardens showcase the range of flora and fauna found throughout the BVI; from tropical rainforests to coastal environments.

Callwood Rum Distillery located in Cane Garden Bay, it still produces rum today using the original boiler! Sample rum whilst touring the facilities, then purchase your own bottle to take home and enjoy.

Copper Mine, Virgin Gorda. Explore the remains of the mine that was constructed in the 1800s by settlers from Cornwall, England.

Zip Lining. A great place to experience the thrill of zip lining for the first time, the course takes you over the rainforest canopy with amazing views over the North shore of Tortola and outer islands.

Helicopter Flights. Choose one of the many different scenic flights on offer and marvel at the beauty of the BVI from high up!

Sunny Caribbee. A spice shop and art studio located in Road Town, about 10 minutes from our marina, selling unique products from the West Indies.

Locally made Arts and Crafts. Aragorn’s Studio located in Trellis Bay on Tortola specialize in authentic Caribbean made items from ceramics to furniture, with an on-site studio. Aragorn also makes the fireballs that feature in the Trellis Bay Full Moon parties!

Beaches. Breath-taking beaches abound in the BVI – from busy beaches with a multitude of things to do to secluded beaches seemingly adrift in another world. Whatever kind of beach you are looking for, it is here to find…a few of our favourites;

  • Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
  • Smugglers Cove, Tortola
  • Josiahs Bay, Tortola
